Uphall 4 V 3 Cambusbarron
Uphall sent the East of Scotland cup holders crashing out after a cracking cup tie on the back pitch at Craigswood. Lee Manderson put station ahead on 15 minutes when he turned home a Paul McHugh volleyed cross. Cambusbarron then failed to capitalise on some excellent chances so the scoreline remained 1v0 at the break.
Uphall raced into a 2 goal lead 10 minutes after the interval when Innes broke free on the right before crossing for Brian McPhillie to stab home. Uphall should have eased to victory but instead Cambusbarron turned the game upside down by scoring 3 goals in 12 minutes to race into a 3v2 lead. Station got back on level terms with 20 minutes left when Lee Manderson raced clear of the visiting defence to coolly slot home from 25 yards. The winner came from the spot with 13 minutes remaining after substitute Jobarteh was tripped. Rab McGregor stepped up and fired home the winner from 12 yards. Despite a late goal mouth scramble, Uphall held on to seal their place in the last 8.
